I am a black labrador retriever. I was born on 05/15/2012. I love my family as much if not more than playing outside. I love playing with tennis balls. My family buys so many of them I don't even feel the need to retrieve them when we play. Here is a little information about my breed.

The Labrador Retriever, Labrador, or Lab is a medium-large breed of retriever-gun dog. The Labrador is the most popular breed of dog in many countries around the world. A favourite disability assistance breed in many countries, Labradors are frequently trained to aid those with blindness or autism, act as a therapy dog, or perform screening and detection work for law enforcement and other official agencies. The breed is best known for their obedience, loyalty, and playful composure. Additionally, they are prized as sporting and hunting dogs. Originally used in Newfoundland, as fishing dogs, they would help bring in the fishing nets and retrieve fish that had gotten away.

Although easy, my life is shorter than most humans. I can live up to between 10 and 14 years and sometimes longer if taken care of properly. I admit most humans envy my lifestyle of laying around and or playing all day. But since I am such a loving companion I believe most humans don't mind me doing these enviable things.
